RoboCo
RoboCo is a wholesome sandbox game about designing and building robots to serve the needs of humans.
The art of RoboCo has a stylized, simplified reduction of everyday elements into predominantly rounded and squared forms. There is little detail frequency besides textures, which are heavily simplified but imply underlying geometry.
The lighting is mostly flat with the exception of the real-time directional light that implies a very subtle directionality.
Robo Vegetations
Vegetations in RoboCo are not only a representation of life and welcomeness but also environmental props that create fun interactions.
Vegetations are rigged inside of Unity with configurable joints to create a bouncy interaction.

Small vegetations are destructible, and the destroyed version are done with particle effects that collide with the environment and disappear after an amount of time.

3D Assets
Factory set

Robo props are designed to be fun to interact with and require special design on the model parts to be assembled and rigged in the game engine.

Most props are destructible to meet the game design condition and to create better interactivity.

Shader

RoboCo uses lightweight render pipeline so I got to make some shaders for the liquid and caustic effect.
